Focalist Is Better Than Cassper Nyovest, And Casper Is Jealous Of That, Nota Says
Everyone who knows Nota would attest he’s one such person who doesn’t shy away from expressing his mind. He has said a lot that has put him at loggerheads with many big names in the industry but is still at it.
This time around he lashed at Cassper Nyovest for being jealous of new names in the South African Hip Hop.
Comparing Cassper to a newcomer – Focalist, Nota believes that the new kid has a lot to offer than Cassper.
We “the SA Hip-hop” community came together to get Capper from the Dome to FNB (stadium) and instead of him seeing how far we could get together, he instead wanted to act as if he got us there on his own, as though he didn’t need the Hip-hop community to progress in his career anymore. He thought he could do it without us,” he wrote on a very lengthy Instagram post.
He further revealed that Cassper had now fallen out of his game and was jealous of Focalist, who has since dominated SA hip hop.
He was wrong and now he’s watching the Hip-hop community get behind Focalistic and the rest of the new school, which makes him jealous because he can’t stand not being the centre of attention. His fragile ego is something he needs to deal with. You can’t help him. Don’t even try. You can always trust him to always want to make himself the pathetic victim like he’s doing again now. Don’t fall for it. Don’t let him confuse you.”
Nota went further to shade many local names including the internationally acclaimed rapper, Nasty C. He says the rapper isn’t putting his city, Durban, on the map in any way.
