Ever since the tragic shooting incident on February 10th, where popular rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known as AKA, was killed, Don Design has been facing a wave of criticism. A leaked CCTV footage capturing the cold-blooded assassination circulated online, leading some netizens to believe that Don Design played a role in plotting AKA’s death. However, Don Design has consistently denied these allegations and distanced himself from the claims.

“Brand new music coming to your speakers real soon.”
The caption was accompanied by a photo featuring two individuals, one of whom was AKA’s close friend, Da L.E.S.

Shortly after AKA’s murder, Da L.E.S stepped up to defend Don Design against the swirling rumors. In a Twitter rant five days after the incident, Da L.E.S vehemently stated:
“Please leave Don Design alone. He had nothing to do with this. He’s always had Kiernan’s back from the beginning till the end. He’d never do anything to hurt him. He has been through enough. LEAVE HIM ALONE! HE NEEDS TO HEAL. We all do.”
Rudolph Baloyi, a lawyer representing the Forbes family, further affirmed their support for Don Design, believing in his innocence.
