‘Ask her Blessers’ UCT Student Pleading For School Fees’ Partying Videos Go Viral (Watch)
Zuki Lamani, a student at the University of Cape Town pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Media Studies, has recently gained attention after controversial blogger Musa Khawula made a plea on her behalf to source tuition fees. Lamani requires financial assistance to cover her UCT bill, amounting to R240,000, in order to re-register for her studies.
Zuki Lamani’s Party Videos Spark Controversy
Following her plea, a GoFundMe channel has been created, and Lamani has started receiving donations from well-wishers. However, her situation has also attracted criticism due to her partying videos that have flooded social media.
In one of the videos, Lamani can be seen enjoying herself at last year’s Durban July event, displaying a VIP tag to her followers. This has led many to question how she could afford to attend such high-profile events while struggling to cover her tuition fees.

- @Lelo_lithra: “Aybo, does she really need the money? 🤔 I mean, considering the fact that she has rich friends and attends such exclusive events 😏🤷🏽♀️, but who am I to judge.”
