A Benoni woman is on the run after shaking off the police when they caught her after chopping her husband’s head and legs.

The woman is suspected to have masterminded a plan and killed her husband, whom the police are yet to identify. She was assisted by a man, also a suspect in the case.
After murdering her husband, she then cut his head off and sawed off his limbs. The two packed the head and limbs in a suitcase on Saturday and set off to eMandleni.
As they were leaving Actonville, they were suddenly stopped by the South African Police Service (SAPS). The police conducted a thorough search and found the couple with a suitcase with the head and legs.
After the police apprehended the two, the woman managed to shake off the cops and fled. She left the man who was her accomplice.
SAPS officers interrogated the man, and he revealed that they were taking the head and limbs to a sangoma in eMandleni. The two are suspected to have killed the man for ritual purposes.
The police are now hunting for the lady who killed her husband.
