South African DJ Black Coffee has finally broken his silence after his management revealed his aircraft accident to his fans.

Last week, his team issued a statement revealing that he experienced a “severe travel accident” while en route to a performance in Mar Del Plata, Argentina.

Reports from The Daily Mail indicated that he underwent surgery to address injuries sustained during an emergency landing of his private plane at Montevideo Airport, prompted by severe turbulence.

While his team did not detail the extent of the 47-year-old’s injuries, they assured, “We can confirm that he is receiving the best possible medical attention and is surrounded by a supportive family and team.”

Fans can now breathe a sigh of relief as Black Coffee took to social media to update his 5.3 million followers on his recovery.

Expressing Gratitude for Recovery

Sharing a series of emojis, the DJ appears to be recovering back home in South Africa and expressing gratitude for his blessings.

Users on the platform were swift in extending their well-wishes for a speedy recovery, although some were puzzled by the cryptic nature of the post.

An online user commented on the commonality of celebrities and cryptic messages, stating, “‘I’m at home, getting better, thank God’ is too basic.”

Post-Accident Developments and Personal Insights

This update comes shortly after Black Coffee’s estranged wife, Enhle Mbali, addressed some misconceptions in an Instagram Live session.

She clarified certain controversies, including backlash she received for a seemingly unrelated meme posted shortly after news of his plane accident broke.

The 35-year-old also confronted her detractors, emphasizing that she would not delete the IG Live video to prevent any potential misuse against her in the ongoing divorce case initiated in November.

Regarding social media scrutiny, Mbali stated, “I don’t care for him; I only care about his wellbeing and for my children.”

Adding an unexpected revelation, Mbali hinted that Black Coffee might be a new father, but she asserted, “I don’t care, it’s his life.”
