“Black Coffee Sent His Lawyers”: Penny Penny Sets the Record Straight on Song Remix, Leaving Mzansi in Stitches

South Africans were left in stitches after legendary musician Penny Penny released a video clarifying who had remixed his song.

There was a buzz on social media recently after Tsonga disco legend Penny Penny seemingly confronted DJ Black Coffee over the alleged remix of his hit song without permission.

The Alleged Remix Ruckus: Penny Penny vs. Black Coffee

The disco legend didn’t hold back as he expressed his anger and disappointment. In a fiery outburst, he said;

“You DJ guys that don’t know how to sing, stop playing with our minds. Coffee, stop playing my song. That is my song. Don’t disrespect me, stop the rubbish you are doing.”

A Twist in the Tale: Penny Penny’s Clarification

However, Penny Penny recorded another video clarifying that it was not referring to Black Coffee. He said that the person whom he was referring to goes by the name Bushida Coffee and media houses should correct that.

“People stop confusing the names. It’s not Black Coffee. Black Coffee is a right guy. It’s not him. It’s Bushida. He call himself Bushida Coffee. He did a remix of Milandu Bhe the original. Not that one. That one, he is just playing somebody’s song. It’s not Black Coffee. Correct the mistake, because now you are spoiling Black Coffee. Black Coffee is not him, it’s a guy who calls himself Bushida Coffee. It’s not Black Coffee. Correct the names. Please correct the names,” Penny Penny said in a video doing the rounds on social media.
