South African DJ Black Coffee’s management has taken to social media to announce that he was involved in an accident.
According to a statement released on Facebook, Black Coffee was in a severe travel accident while on a flight going to a show he was booked for in Mar Del Plata.
The accident reportedly caused unforeseen complications, and the DJ was injured. It has not been made public who he was travelling with and whether there were any fatalities.
Black Coffee receiving medical attention according to media statement
The DJ is said to be in the medical care of the best possible practitioners with the support of his friends and family. He is recovering well from his injuries and is optimistic about his healing.
‘Despite the challenges presented, Black Coffee is optimistic and recovering well’, the statement reads.
Requesting privacy while in recovery
The family and management have asked for privacy from Black Coffee’s fans and the media while he recovers from his injuries. The management asks for the fans’ patience as they will update on his recovery in due course.
