Cardi B Responds To Criticism About Not Being An Ideal Role Model

Cardi is facing backlash for stopping her daughter Kulture from listening to ‘WAP’.. The single featuring Megan thee Stallion was the rapper’s biggest single for 2020. It’s obvious that she would play the song. However, in a video shared online, Cardi turned off the hit single when her two-year-old daughter Kulture walked into the room.
In the Instagram live video, Cardi is seen dressed in a yellow jumpsuit rapping to the lyrics to ‘WAP’. When her daughter Kulture walks into the room she quickly switched off the music. Her reaction is priceless as she looks embarrassed and sips on her wine.

While it was appropriate as a parent for Cardi to switch off ‘WAP’, some people questioned her morals. One social media user wrote:
“So ya daughter cant listen to it but everybody else’s daughter can ? @iamcardib AW OKAY ! Exactly what I been saying you have an agenda to push with that trash a– label your with. DISGUSTING”
Not the one to take criticism whilst lying down, Cardi responded to criticism on Twitter. She tweeted,
“Ya needs to stop with this already ! I’m not jojosiwa ! I don’t make music for kids I make music for adults.Parents are responsible on what their children listen too or see.I I’m a very sexual person but not around my child just like every other parent should be.”
She also added,
“There’s moms who are strippers.Pop p—y ,twerk all night for entertainment does that mean they do it around their kids ? No! Stop makin this a debate.Its pretty much common sense.”
