Cassper Nyovest Breaks Silence After The Passing Of His “Arch Rival” AKA, Receives Praise From Mzansi
After much anticipation, arch-rival and fellow rapper Cassper Nyovest has extended his condolences following the untimely death of AKA.
AKA and his close friend Tebello Motsoane passed away Friday night in Durban, causing South Africa to closely monitor Cassper’s social media for a message of sympathy for AKA’s loved ones.
Cassper Nyovest was dragged after tweeps came across the cryptic tweet he posted moments before AKA was gunned down.
This came as a result of their longstanding contention. Their beef allegedly stemmed from Cassper Nyovest’s meteoric rise in 2014, which saw him challenging AKA’s hip-hop dominance.
Their beef has always been questionable, fans thought the two rap rivals were secretly besties and their beef was just a facade.
As such, netizens were highly anticipating to see what Cassper Nyovest was going to say about AKA’s tragic death but alas, Doc Shebeleza only posted his condolence message today.
Taking to his Twitter account, Cassper Nyovest sent his condolences to AKA and Tebello’s families and fans.
“My sincere condolences goes out to Kiernan and Tebello’s families, colleagues and fans. May their souls rest in peace and their legacies be celebrated. May the Good lord be with all of you at this sad time,” Cassper Nyovest wrote.
Mzansi applauded Cassper Nyovest for showing humility and maturity regardless of their beef.
