Shepherd Bushiri FNB

Self-styled Malawian prophet Shepherd Bushiri has lashed out at the South African media following Chris Brown’s record-breaking concerts at Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium.

Brown’s performances on December 14 and 15, 2024, drew over 90,000 attendees each night, solidifying his place in South Africa’s entertainment history.

However, Bushiri claims the media unfairly ignores his own achievements at the same venue.

So Chris Brown’s concert at FNB Stadium drew a crowd of 94,000, and the South African weirdo Media is going crazy crowning him; ‘the biggest crowd puller’. What a shame. Hate is really an animal,” Bushiri said in a statement.

Bushiri, known for hosting large-scale religious events, argued that his Crossover Night prayers have consistently attracted larger crowds.

They are trying to turn a blind eye to my meetings in the same stadium where we recorded an all-time high in numbers, with 110,000 people attending my Crossover Night prayers four consecutive times. Despite the FNB Management posting it on the public display, no South African media has written about it to date.

Bad Vs Good

Bushiri accused the media of bias, alleging they downplay his gatherings while celebrating secular events.

The South African media is trying to enthrone Chris Brown and dethrone the GOSPEL. They gladly, wrote about Chris Brown fans; ‘they were entertained’ and my followers who attended prayers; ‘they were brainwashed.’ Wow,” he added.

Bushiri, who fled South Africa in 2020 while facing fraud and money laundering charges, framed the media’s coverage as part of a broader agenda.

Indeed, if you hate someone, even their most beautiful face looks ugly. Soon, South Africans will wake up to the real agenda happening in their land—hating men of God and celebrating evil. Diabolical!
