Veteran rapper DA L.E.S has finally spoken out as he continues his rehabilitation and recovery following a stroke he suffered in July this year.

DA L.E.S Breaks Silence on Stroke & Recovery

In a statement released by his team, DA L.E.S expressed his deep gratitude to God for being alive and thanked his fans, friends, and industry colleagues for their support during this challenging time.

“He expresses deep gratitude for being alive, saying it’s truly a miracle, and thanks God for his strength. “I owe it all to God.” Da L.E.S is incredibly thankful for the outpouring of love, support and prayers from his fans, friends, and everyone who’s reached out,” the statement reads.

DA L.E.S Shares His Gratitude After Stroke

The statement assured fans that DA L.E.S will keep them updated as he recovers. While he acknowledges that the path to full health is lengthy, the rapper maintains a positive outlook.

“He will continue to update everyone on his healing process and appreciates all the continued encouragement. Healing takes time, but he’s staying positive and focused on a full recovery,” the statement ends.

Updates on DA L.E.S’s Health and Rehabilitation Progress

After a month-long hospital stay, DA L.E.S was discharged in October and is now recovering at home, with a close family network by his side. According to sources, his family opted to bring him home to protect his privacy and shield him from media intrusion. His mother, who had been residing in the U.S., has returned to South Africa to support her son.

The stroke affected DA L.E.S’s right side, impacting his mobility and speech, but sources report positive signs in his rehabilitation. Though he’s still working on regaining full mobility, he has begun to recover sensation and is making strides in his physical therapy, including learning to walk again. His family is providing dedicated care, with members taking turns to assist him in his recovery journey.
