His last Instagram post days before the stroke hinted:

“My phone on DND [Do Not Disturb] but not unless the money calling 💵 We up all weekend 🍾🍰”

Some online have been analysing Da Les’ lifestyle following the stroke.

Past Allegations and Lifestyle Scrutiny

The rapper has created a brand for himself through his lavish and high-energy lifestyle. He first gained prominence as part of the hip-hop group Jozi and later as a solo artist.

In 2021, former Jozi member Bongani Fassie accused label Muthaland Entertainment founder Lance Stehr for offering the group drugs. Veteran musician and Ayashisa Amateki singer Mercy Phakela also accused Lance of giving young artists drugs like cocaine.

After going solo, Da Les made hits and a name for his high-energy events and parties, where allegations of substance use emerged.

“The North God” once allegedly gave podcaster MacG marijuana before their interview. MacG also admitted that it was his first time using the substance.

After experiencing the stroke just before his party, South Africans have been speaking on his lifestyle.
