Dr Nandipha Magudumana Brutally Attacked in Prison: Shocking Details Revealed
Disgraced celebrity doctor Nandipha Magudumana was reportedly attacked by two inmates at the Kroonstad Correctional Centre on Monday morning.
Magudumana’s lawyer, Advocate Mochini Motloung, confirmed the incident in a chat with eNCA.

Motloung revealed that he was notified of the assault on Monday morning by his client. The attackers were identified as being a sangoma and the other is believed to be suffering from mental health challenges.
Despite attempting to follow up with the prison’s authorities, Motloung was unable to gather any information.
“I received a call from my client informing me of the incident. I tried to do a follow-up with the head of the prison but to no avail,” Motloung explained.
He also revealed that threats of violence against Magudumana had been looming for some time, and though she had reported them to the appropriate authorities, no action had been taken.
Singabakho Nxumalo, the spokesperson for the Department of Correctional Services, had not responded to requests for comment at the time of writing.
Health Concerns Amidst Legal Battles
Nandipha Magudumana has faced numerous challenges since her arrest. Shortly after her bail application was denied last October, she collapsed in the holding cells at Parkroad Police Station. Motloung explained that she was subsequently transferred from Parkroad Police Station to the holding cells at Bloemfontein Magistrates Court.
Motloung expressed concern over Magudumana’s deteriorating health, emphasizing that she was distressed and receiving inhumane treatment. He refrained from providing further details to prevent further humiliation, stating that she was being subjected to such mistreatment solely because of her status as Dr. Nandipha Magudumana.
“She is not well, she is literally on the floor. I don’t even want to divulge any information that might further humiliate her…She is being treated in the most inhumane manner just because she is Dr Nandipha Magudumana,” he said.
