Reality TV star Eva Modika has revealed she regrets going to Turkey to get a bigger nyash for a staggering R130k.

The Chase For An Hourglass Body

In the pursuit of the perfect body, the DJ embarked on a costly journey through plastic surgery. Eva, known for her appearance on the show “Diamonds and Dolls,” recently voiced her remorse over investing R130,000 in a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery. This decision has sparked conversations about the real price of beauty.

Eva’s experience with cosmetic surgery began in 2020 in South Africa, where her first liposuction procedure resulted in a botched outcome, leaving her with fibrosis and a lump. Determined to correct the mistakes of her first doctor, she travelled to Istanbul, where she underwent further liposuction and a BBL. Despite the initial excitement and the successful outcome of her procedures, Modika has since expressed a change of heart.

The allure of an hourglass figure and the promise of a “banging body” led Modika to The Clinique in Turkey, where she received extensive care during her recovery. She praised the aftercare as “superior,” noting that the healthcare professionals checked on her every hour and assisted with breathing exercises and other techniques to speed up her recovery.

However, the physical and emotional toll of the surgery, along with the financial burden, has led Modika to rethink her choices. In a candid revelation, she shared her feelings of regret over the surgery. She said had she known she would get a bigger nyash from the gym, she wouldn’t have gone under the knife.

To date, she has splashed over R500k on BBL surgeries.

As Modika’s story unfolds, it prompts a broader discussion on the societal standards of beauty and the lengths people will go to meet them. It raises questions about the value people place on appearance and the potential consequences of succumbing to these pressures.
