Popular Durban businessman and owner of Eyadini Lounge, Jabulani Mjey Zama has tragically passed away.
Jabulani Mjey Zama, also popularly known as Jigga Money died on Saturday after he suffered a stroke, leaving the community in shock and mourning the loss of a prominent figure in Durban’s business and entertainment scene.

Eyadini Lounge, the renowned Durban restaurant founded by Zama, not only became a culinary landmark but also played a pivotal role in launching the career of well-known exotic dancer, Zodwa Wabantu.
The vibrant atmosphere and lively entertainment at Eyadini Lounge provided the platform for Wabantu to showcase her talent and gain prominence in the entertainment industry.
Closure Amidst Health Struggles
Prior to his passing, Eyadini Lounge had already announced its temporary closure on Instagram. In a statement from Zama’s family, they shared the news that Zama had suffered a severe stroke, necessitating a focus on his recovery. The family requested privacy during this difficult time and asked for prayers, expressing their belief in Zama’s resilience and eventual return to good health.

According to Zimoja, Jabulani Mjey Zama had faced health challenges in the past, including being hospitalized for gout, a complex form of arthritis. Despite his struggles, Zama exhibited determination and continued to make a significant impact in the business and entertainment spheres.
