Businessman Nzuzo Njilo, known for his brief marriage to reality TV star Faith Nketsi, is once again in hot water with the law. Njilo, who is also the brother of boxing champion Phumlani Njilo, failed to appear at the Port Shepstone Magistrates Court in KwaZulu-Natal as scheduled in December 2024.
He cited medical reasons for his absence but has yet to provide the necessary medical certificate to substantiate his claim. This development has raised eyebrows, with authorities questioning his credibility and commitment to the legal process.
Fraud Allegations Resurface
Njilo, alongside his co-accused Kwanda Ntshangase, is set to appear in court once more on fraud charges. The duo is accused of posing as truck salesmen in 2021, an elaborate scheme that reportedly defrauded an unsuspecting buyer of R1.5 million. Following their arrests in November 2023, both were released on bail of R10,000 each. However, this is not Njilo’s first run-in with fraud allegations.

In a separate case, Njilo was accused of defrauding business partners Blaine Evans and James Stephens of over R900,000 through their company, Lund Industries. The incident stemmed from a deal to purchase copper concentrate from Njilo’s company, a deal that allegedly turned sour. These recurring allegations paint a troubling picture of the businessman’s dealings.
A Troubled Personal Life
Njilo’s legal battles are not the only challenges he has faced in recent years. His high-profile marriage to reality TV star Faith Nketsi captured the public’s attention, but their union was short-lived. The couple, who share a child together, parted ways in December 2023. While the reasons behind their separation remain private, the timing coincides with Njilo’s mounting legal troubles, leaving many to speculate on the strain this may have placed on their relationship.
