Fascinating Times Ahead On The River
The arrival of a triplex army of Mohumi Ditshwene played by Seputla Sebogosti, Mad Dog played by Segomotso Modise and Steven played by Mnqobi Yazo is set to stir things up on Mzansi’s multi-award-winning telenovela; The River.
Sebogodi who became a household name due to his character; Kenneth Mashaba on Generations will debut on the 20th of November as Mohumi Ditshwene. This will be around the same time that Lindiwe Dikana will be celebrating her birthday.
He plans to settle old-scores as he has a long history with Lindiwe. He’s a former Khanvisa Diamonds employee, a close friend of the late Thato Mokoena and Lindiwe’s childhood friend.
Lindiwe framed him and made sure he lands in prison where he served1Oyears for shutting down the mine over salary increases and was released on good behaviour.
Mohumi is going to recruit his friends; Steven and Mad Dog to go after her. What he doesn’t know though, is that he has more than just a shared painful childhood with Lindiwe. There are also rumours that Mohumi is Tumi’s biological father.
Steven is a former Khanvisa Diamonds employee and a Refilwe resident. He’s got a grudge against Lindiwe’s right-hand man; Zolani. He felt unappreciated by management, left and struggled to find greener pastures elsewhere.
Mad Dog is also a former employee of Khanvisa Diamonds who now works at the clinic as a security guard. He’s a greedy and lazy security guard who believes Lindiwe owes him. He’s joining Mohumi’s army because he thinks this is his ticket out of poverty and he’ll do whatever it takes to get out of Refilwe Township.
Fans of the show shared their excitement on social media as Seputla Sebogodi will be sharing his screen-time with his real-life son on a telenovela for the first time.
