Financial Woes Hit The High Note For Babes Wodumo After Mampintsha’s Death
It appears Babes Wodumo is facing financial struggles after the death of her husband, Mampintsha.
According to a source who spoke to Zimoja, Babes Wodumo was reportedly left with a lot of debts by her late husband and they have been piling up since his passing.
He has left her in a lot of debt. Luckily, they own the house, but the debt has accumulated,” said the close source.
It has also been reported that Mampintsha was the one managing the finances in their marriage, and since his passing, Babes Wodumo has been left in a precarious financial situation with no knowledge of how he (Mampintsha) was managing their finances.
“He was managing all the finances of the business and household.
“These people met when Babes was very young. He has always been guiding her and taking care of the money. But she now has to manage everything on her own. She is in serious debt,” the source revealed.
The publication has reported that following Mampintsha’s death, Babes Wodumo’s family moved in with her to help reduce expenses, as she is the breadwinner in her family.
“They left their home in eLamont and moved in with her and Sponge. She needed support from her parents to be able to deal with Mandla’s death.
“But to also be able to cut costs on bills. Phela, she is the one supporting her parents and the breadwinner at home. It made financial sense for them to move in with her. The house is big enough.”
The Wololo hitmaker is said to be taking as many bookings as possible to make ends meet.
