Generations’ Mary Moves Back To SA
After a stint away from our beautiful continent living with her cute hubby in Germany, actress and media personality, Denise Zimba is back on the shores of Mzansi.
Denise Zimba has also been living a low key lifestyle, as evidenced by her absence from TV and social media.
She is well known for her role as the witty and chatty Mary on Generations
She’s also done some presenting gigs on Looking for the Loerie with Denise, Ridiculousness Africa, The Wedding Bashers, The Wedding Bashers Specials: V on Vuzu and Zabalaza
Unlike other celebs who are constantly updating us about their lives on social media, Denise prefers to keep it on the down-low, only indulging on the occasion
Denise’s husband is German, so she was definitely getting acquainted with his country but she has returned home, probably for a short stay.
The couple have a daughter together named, Leah Lilli-Rose Schlichtig who was born on 1 July 2019.
Denise Zimba is one of the few public figures who opened up about postpartum depression saying at the time
I cry at least every second day because I am exhausted and overwhelmed. I’m learning my baby and she is learning me, my husband, and the world she now exists in. Im not happy with how I look. My body does not feel like mine, my feelings bounce from wall to wall, I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. I get overwhelmed every time my baby cry’s, I rush through everything.
At the time she also mentioned she suffered from separation anxiety when she had to leave her baby in order to attend to some things
It seems the former Generations actress finally got the hang of this motherhood thing and it happens to the best of us.
Denise Zimba is also known for her beef with Ayanda Thabethe, after she publicly called the latter beautiful but talentless.
