This after a lady doctor got hijacked and lost her new Toyota Legend bakkie.
She had earlier flaunted her priced possession on Twitter after buying it.
Mzansi hijackers usually target women, especially with bakkies.
From the comments underneath her post where she was celebrating her achievement, tweeps warned her that buying such a car was going to get her in trouble with car hijackers.
These comments almost seemed like jealousy rather than a warning.
A few hours after the post, the girl came back on Twitter announcing that her car had been hijacked outside her parents home.
From the comments under a posts by one, Advovo, it seems many people agree that social media is really causing many crimes out there.
