Taking to his Instagram account after a court appearance, Jub Jub posted powerful Bible verses from Psalms 121 and 120, seeking strength in his faith during this challenging time.
No Evil Weapon or Scheming Formed Against Me Shall Prosper “- Jub Jub Denies and Prays
In a cryptic caption, Jub Jub dismissed the allegations as “lies and scheming,” holding fast to his belief that no weapon formed against him shall prosper.
Writing passionately in his native Setswana, he affirms his ancestral roots and places his trust in God, using the hashtag “In God we trust” to express his unwavering faith.

Jub Jub’s Arrest
Jub Jub appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court facing on Thursday afternoon after he handed himself over to police earlier in the day.
According to Phindi Mjonondwane, the spokesperson for the Gauteng National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), four complainants came forward to bring charges against rapper Jub Jub. The alleged offenses date back to a period between 2006 and 2010.

Despite being granted bail at R10,000, Jub Jub’s emotions ran high as his lawyer, Lawrence Baloyi, expressed the artist’s shock and disillusionment with the justice system.
Devastated and struggling to comprehend the sudden accusations, Jub Jub laments the timing of these charges and questions why they resurfaced years later. Baloyi voiced concerns about the power wielded by certain individuals, claiming that this could be an injustice to the justice system itself.
