Chilling Facebook Live Confession: Man Records Himself, Details Why He Killed His Girlfriend Before Committing Suicide
In a horrifying turn of events, a 36-year-old man from Ga-Mashamothane has sent shockwaves on social media after he recorded himself narrating how he stabbed his girlfriend to death in a live video on Facebook.
The man, whose identity is being withheld, went on to commit suicide shortly after the video was streamed.

Live Confession: Man Details Gruesome Murder of Girlfriend on Facebook
The distressing video seen by Zimoja, captured the man confessing to his actions and revealing the motive behind the gruesome act. According to his account, he believed that his 24-year-old girlfriend had been engaged in an extramarital affair with a local school teacher during his absence from home.
“I have heard too many times that she has been sleeping with the teacher who is her ex. She told me that the teacher made her drop out of school because he always wanted to sleep with her,” the man expressed in the video.
He further stated that he wanted the video to remain on his Facebook profile as a cautionary lesson to others. The man claimed that he had been informed that his girlfriend was still involved with the teacher, which fueled his anger and led him to commit the heinous act.
In his confession, the man described the brutal details of the murder, recounting how he stabbed his girlfriend multiple times after initially targeting her neck. Despite witnessing her bleeding profusely, he continued his assault until he believed she had passed away.
“I then decided to kill her. I went to her and stabbed her once in the neck, and she bled profusely, but I could see that she was not dead, and I continued to stab her multiple times all over her body. Then told her to rest in peace and that I loved her. I was angry,” he explained.
He tearfully expressed regret for his actions, acknowledging that the young woman did not deserve such a fate.
“The way I killed that girl is painful; she didn’t deserve it. I am also going to kill myself the same way,” he lamented.
Tragic Suicide: Distraught Man Takes His Own Life After Committing the Murder
After the live video, the man drove his black Audi to a nearby river, where he left a note with contact information for a particular individual. The note bore the message, “Take me home.”
The man went on to end his own life tragically by hanging himself from a tree.
Police Investigation Unfolds: Bodies Found at Separate Locations
The Limpopo SAPS spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, confirmed the incident, stating that the police responded to a call at a rental property in Ga-Mashamothane village. Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of a woman believed to be in her late 20s, showing multiple stab wounds outside the rented room.
Further investigations revealed that the boyfriend had taken his own life in the nearby bushes. The police found his vehicle parked by the roadside, and his body was found hanging from a tree. It is suspected that after murdering his girlfriend, he disposed of her body at the rental property before driving to the secluded location and ending his own life.
Community Mourns: Limpopo Police Commissioner Condemns the Incident, Urges Others to Seek Help
The identities of the deceased have not been disclosed at this time. The Limpopo police commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, expressed deep condolences for the tragic incident and denounced the act of violence.
“We are very saddened by the incident and still urge community members who are experiencing domestic challenges to seek help immediately instead of resorting to violence,” Hadebe emphasized.
The police have initiated investigations into the case, opening charges of murder and inquest.
