Actress Nompilo Maphumulo, renowned for her role as Nosipho in the popular TV series ‘Uzalo,’ recently delighted fans by sharing behind-the-scenes images from her new project at Urban Brew Studios, the production set of ‘Generations: The Legacy.’
After the actress posted photos of herself on social media recently, fans of both ‘Uzalo’ and ‘Generations: The Legacy’ were quick to extend their congratulations.
The pictures showcased Nompilo at what appeared to be the set of the renowned SABC1 soapie.

Following her remarkable eight-year tenure portraying the character of Nosipho Xulu-Gwala on ‘Uzalo,’ Nompilo Maphumulo bid farewell to the show in April.
Her departure marked a significant milestone in her career, prompting fans to reflect on her incredible journey on the popular series.

As I bow today after 8 and a half years on @uzalo_sabc1 I would like to thank all of you guys for the support you have given me and the love you have shown for me and my craft. It’s been quite a journey, a beautiful one. Trended a number of times, cried, and laughed but most of all I enjoyed and embraced playing Nosipho. We are all going to miss her, especially me but rest assured Nompilo is not done yet. In fact, it’s only the beginning. According to ZAlebs, Nompilo Maphumulo made her final appearance on ‘Uzalo’ alongside her on-screen husband, Menzi Biyela, who portrayed the character of Pastor Gwala.
The episode aired on Tuesday, April 4, marking the emotional departure of both actors from the beloved soapie. Fans bid farewell to the dynamic duo as they concluded their journey on the show.
