“He Is A Drug Addict”: Emtee’s Estranged Wife Chantel Chinsamy Drops Bombshell

Emtee’s estranged wife, Chantel Chinsamy, has made a startling revelation by claiming that the renowned artist is involved in drug use.

According to Sunday World, these alarming accusations were detailed in a police statement filed by Chinsamy at the Midrand Police Station in Johannesburg.

She had lodged a case of assault with the intention to cause serious bodily harm (GBH) against the rapper.

In the statement, meticulously compiled by Constable KE Makamola, Chinsamy asserted that Emtee has a history of drug abuse.

But she did not state the type of drugs the hip hop proponent allegedly hovers.
The terse statement, which we have seen, reads as follows:

“The complainant alleges that her husband is assaulting her and invading her privacy on social media.

The husband is known as Mthembeni Ndevu, with a contact number (number withheld). The complainant alleges that he is also a drug user. Case docket opened for further police investigations.”

Although Chinsamy had initially lodged a case against Emtee, alleging drug use and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, the drug allegations were not subjected to scrutiny in a court of law.

Prior to the case proceeding to trial, Chinsamy decided to withdraw her charges, leading to the discontinuation of the legal proceedings.

The serious allegations made against Emtee will continue to cast a shadow over the popular artist, as he did not directly address them when he presented his case to the National Prosecution Authority (NPA) in order to have the domestic violence charges against him dropped at the Midrand Magistrate’s Court.

Despite vehemently denying any involvement in drug use through his social media platforms, Emtee expressed mixed emotions upon the withdrawal of the criminal case.

He acknowledged that this development would not completely dispel the negative perceptions held by the public, who still view him as someone prone to violence against women.

Chinsamy, who shares three children with Emtee, chose to withdraw the case as an attempt to extend an olive branch to the artist, prioritizing the well-being of their children in the process.
