Natasha Joubert, who made the Miss SA top three in 2020, was crowned Miss SA 2023 at the SunBet Arena at Time Square, Pretoria, on Sunday, 13 August.
Miss SA 2023 Finale
Ndavi Nokeri passed down her crown to her successor – Natasha Joubert, at the finale of the Miss SA pageant held on Sunday, 13 August. Bryoni Govender, who hails from Gauteng, was crowned runner-up,d Nade Madala, who hails from the Western Cape, wa,s the second runner-up.
Natasha Joubert once competed in the pageant three years ago, where she was second runner-up and got to compete in the Miss Universe pageant. After three years, she came to give a shot again and ended up wowing the nation and judges.
About Miss South Africa
According to the Miss South Africa website, the organisation is a leadership platform for ambitious young South African women. The Miss SA pageant is a national beauty pageant that selects representatives to compete in international beauty pageants.
Crown Chasers Reality Show
This year the finalists’ journey was a little different. The Top 12 finalists competed for seven spots on a reality show titled Crown Chasers. So, five of the Top 12 were eliminated from the pageant.
