Football icon Doctor ’16V’ Khumalo recently got married to his long-term partner in a private traditional ceremony held at his parents’ residence in Spruitview, located on the East Rand.
The news of their marriage came to light when a few pictures of the couple started circulating on social media.

Doctor Khumalo’s Secret Wedding Kept Under Wraps Until Pictures Surface
According to an insider who spoke with ZiMoja, the guests were explicitly requested not to take any photographs during the ceremony to avoid unwanted media attention. The source stated,
“Those who attended the wedding were not allowed to take pictures of the couple at the ceremony to avoid media glare.”
The same source revealed that Doctor Khumalo’s new wife has been given the name Nomasonto by her in-laws. Not much information is available about Khumalo’s partner at this time. However, the source shared,
“All we know is that she is a businesswoman and philanthropist. She is beautiful and smart I get why Doctor fell in love with her.”

Prior to his current marriage, Khumalo was married to Blanche Garises, hailing from Namibia. The couple, who share a son, ended their marriage in 2015 after eight years. In an interview with the media during that time, Blanche expressed her unhappiness, stating that Khumalo did not permit her parents to visit her at their home.
“He also didn’t accept my son. I felt lonely and miserable. Neither of us cheated on the other but I was like a prisoner in the marriage. I’ve been nothing but loyal to Doctor. Our love just died,” she revealed.
Doctor Khumalo, widely recognized as one of South Africa’s greatest footballers, has consistently maintained a private personal life, avoiding public attention. At this time, Khumalo has chosen not to provide any comments regarding his recent marriage.
