Peter ‘Mashata’ Mabuse’s mother Interviewed by SABC

In a poignant interview with the SABC, she likened her anguish to the sensation of losing a limb, unable to comprehend the stark reality that she’ll never lay eyes on her son again.

Despite the outpouring of support from well-wishers during this tumultuous period, Rebecca’s singular focus remains on seeking retribution for the perpetrators responsible for robbing her of her son.

“It’s a question mark to me, that he is not gone, maybe he is still around. But it’s so painful. Let it not just be an interview, a visit by the premier or the councillor to my house — let it be that justice is served,”
