In a shocking incident captured on camera, a young woman from South Africa faced public humiliation at the hands of Jet store employees after being caught stealing Huggies pampers.
Young Mother’s Humiliation at Jet Store
The video that has gone viral reveals the young mother of three, identified as Lulama, standing in a Jet store with a couple of opened baby diapers on the store floor next to her. A stolen package of Huggies is also found beside her.
In the video, Jet employees can be seen asking Lulama to lift her shirt, exposing yet another set of stolen pampers hidden underneath. She drops this second set of stolen items on the floor, adding to the mounting evidence against her.
The video’s release sparked a mixed bag of reactions on social media. While many users condemn the act of theft, others express sympathy for Lulama, speculating that she might be a struggling mother grappling with financial hardship.

Mzansi Sympathizes with the Young Mother
In response to the viral video, several Good Samaritans on social media, including Amapiano vocalist Lady Du and controversial sangoma and reality star Gogo Maweni, offered to extend a helping hand to the woman.
Lady Du voiced her concern, making it clear that she does not condone theft. However, she empathizes with the situation, emphasizing the need for compassion among women.
“Please don’t get my post wrong; I don’t condone theft. But if this was clothes or something that she wanted for herself, I’d understand.”
She called for assistance in locating Lulama to provide pampers for her child, recognizing the heart-wrenching aspect of the incident.
