Kairo and “Glammy” Lynn Forbes NYC Adventure: How They Are Celebrating Her Birthday Without DJ Zinhle
It was supposed to be a family trip to the Big Apple, but DJ Zinhle had to miss out on her daughter Kairo Forbes’ birthday celebration due to a passport mishap.
However, that didn’t stop Kairo and her grandmother Lynn “Glammy” Forbes, from having a blast in New York City.
How The New York Trip Was Shaken
The duo jetted off to the US on Monday, 26 June, leaving behind DJ Zinhle, who had lost her passport and US visa at Dubai International Airport during their layover. The DJ had to fly back to Johannesburg while Kairo and Glammy continued their journey without their luggage, which was in Zinhle’s name.
Despite the setback, Kairo and Glammy made the most of their time in New York. The seven-year-old, who lost her father AKA in February after he was shot dead outside a restaurant in Durban, looked happy and carefree as she explored the city with her Glammy.
Kairo And Lynn Forbes Having A Blast In NYC
In a video shared on her Instagram, she was lying comfortably in bed, draped in a white morning robe that matched her granny’s. She looked comfortable and gleeful as Lynn stood by the window, sipping coffee and admiring the concrete jungle that is New York.
