Renowned Kwaito artist Lvovo Derrango has triumphantly returned to the recording studio after spending a year away due to illness. The artist, known for his hit track “Baya’Ngisukela,” suffered a stroke in 2022, which led to an extended hospital stay and a prolonged period of recovery.
A Journey of Healing and Hope
Throughout his recovery, Lvovo has been transparent with his fans, sharing updates and insights into his journey on social media. Despite his eagerness to return to music, medical advice initially restricted him from resuming his musical activities.
In a recent interview with TshisaLIVE, Lvovo expressed his joy at being able to make music again. “It felt incredible to be back doing what I love. Hearing my voice again and knowing it hadn’t changed was a wonderful feeling. The music I’m working on is meaningful, and I feel revitalized after everything I’ve been through. My producer was patient with me, and we didn’t rush the process,” he shared.
Looking Forward to New Releases
Lvovo is optimistic about his future projects and plans to release a teaser ahead of his main single in July. “Recording again was a great experience, even though I’m not yet at full strength. Knowing I can still make music is a blessing. The song I recorded, ‘Aba Understandi,’ will mark my comeback,” he revealed.
