Talented actress Nambitha Ben-Mazwi, recently took a moment to reflect on her career choices and the path that led her to where she is today. Making a bold decision seven years ago, she chose to leave behind the corporate world and embrace her lifelong dream of becoming an actress.

Having spent seven years immersed in the corporate realm, Nambitha decided it was time to close that chapter and follow her passion. It was a leap of faith, but she believed in her calling as a storyteller and was determined to pursue it wholeheartedly.

In a heartfelt post shared on her Instagram page, she expressed her gratitude for the journey she had embarked upon.

Nambitha’s talent has taken her to remarkable heights, with roles in prestigious international productions such as Black Mirror, Madiba, and Beyoncé’s Black Is King. Even on home soil, she has found a second home in Netflix, gracing screens in captivating shows like Savage Beauty and Happiness Ever After, among others.

Reflecting on her decision to transition from the corporate world to the world of acting, Nambitha acknowledged the immense change it brought to her life. In her Instagram post, she wrote,

This month, seven years ago, I made the bold leap of faith to relentlessly pursue my calling of being a storyteller full-time. I left all I knew behind, including the Business Science corporate world I had worked so hard to be entrenched in.”

Nambitha revealed that she has never done career anniversaries before but a recent meeting with her US/UK management prompted her to do one.

“I knew God had a different purpose in me, the purpose of showcasing truth in ourselves. I’ve never done career anniversaries, but after my meeting last night with my US/UK management, I am reminded to take stock of my journey and growth as I continue to step into a new phase in my career.”
