Divorce Drama: Lebo M Fears for His Life and Children Over Wife’s Suspected Fraudulent Life Policies
Renowned producer and reality TV star Lebo M has recently unveiled shocking details surrounding his ongoing divorce from his fourth wife, Pretty Samuels. Amid the heated separation, Lebo M expressed deep concerns over potential fraudulent life policies, leaving him in a “position of great discomfort” and fearing for his life and the safety of his children.
According to a statement seen by The Citizen, Lebo M disclosed Lebo M disclosed that while he was on tour in Europe from April to June this year, Pretty had access to his electronic signature. She was granted proxy rights to sign documents on his behalf.
“During my Europe tour from April to June this year, Pretty had my electronic signature as I had given her proxy to sign documents on my behalf.”
Refusal to Sign Affidavits Leads to Altercation
However, upon his return, Lebo M requested Pretty to delete the signature from her PC and sign an affidavit confirming the action. But she refused, leading to an altercation between the estranged couple.
Things escalated further when Lebo M asked Pretty to sign another affidavit, confirming that she had not opened any life insurance policies behind his back, which she also refused to do.
“Upon his return, Lebo M requested that Samuels-Morake destroys and deletes it from her PC. This led to an altercation between the two parties, further fuelled by Samuels Morake’s reluctance to sign a sworn affidavit stating that she had destroyed the signature. Due to pressure from Lebo M, Samuels-Morake relented and signed an affidavit stating that she had indeed destroyed the signature.
Lebo M further requested Samuels-Morake to sign another affidavit, stating that there are no policies she is aware of and he is not, that would be effected upon his death, which she and others would be beneficiaries of. Lebo M would like to attach such affidavits to his last will and testament. He requested that Samuels-Morake forward the affidavit to him via email or WhatsApp, which she has failed to do,”reads part of the statement.
Fear of Fraudulent Life Policies
The acclaimed composer expressed his deep concern over the situation, fearing that there might be life policies taken out in his name without his knowledge or consent.
“This has placed me in a position of great discomfort, and I fear for my life and that of my children. I am worried and do not understand why my estranged wife refuses to sign the second affidavit”
He has now sought legal counsel to investigate and verify the existence of any fraudulent life policies that could potentially jeopardize his life and financial security.
“I am consulting with my attorneys to investigate and verify whether I have any fraudulent life policies in my name and/or any life covers taken to insure my life without my knowledge and consent, as this would be tantamount to fraud,” said Lebo M.
