Lawrence Mulaudzi sues Musa Khawula on Defamation of Character Allegations

According to Zimoja, Mulaudzi is pursuing a defamation of character lawsuit against Khawula, stemming from being labelled a “dangerous thug” by the blogger on the platform X. Khawula, who has been entangled in legal disputes with various celebrities throughout his blogging career, now faces legal action from someone outside the media and showbiz sphere – Mulaudzi.

Khawula appears to have crossed a line by associating Mulaudzi with a Thohoyandou gang, Tshisole. On December 29, Khawula published on his blog: “Introducing Makhadzi’s alleged dangerous boyfriend, Masala Mulaudzi. Mulaudzi is reportedly a member of the Tshisole thug group in Venda. The Tshisole thugs allegedly control a location called Jerusalem. Recently, one of the Tshisole members known as Target was fatally shot during a meeting.”

Legal Action Initiated

Mulaudzi, upon seeing the post, promptly engaged his legal representatives to take action against Khawula. The letter of demand, marked as “extremely urgent” and dated December 30, 2023, was served to Khawula on the same day.

You caused the publication of defamatory statements.”

Not only did Mulaudzi demand a public apology from Khawula within 48 hours, but he also initiated a criminal case against the blogger. The criminal case was filed at Camps Bay police station in Cape Town.
