Like Father Like Daughter: Kairo Forbes Sings at Metro FM Awards (Watch)
The Megacy had a special night as they witnessed Kairo Forbes, AKA’s daughter, produce delicate vocals at the Metro FM Awards ceremony. As she lifted the crowd with her fine singing, this gave AKA’s fans hope that Megacy is not dead, but instead, is moving on from AKA to his daughter.
Kairo Forbes Receives AKA’s Award
Kairo went to the stage with her grandparents to collect AKA’s Best Collaboration Song featuring Nasty C award. As they took the stage, AKA’s daughter showed that she had learned well as she lifted the crowd with her fine singing.

An Emotional Night for Forbes Family
It was an emotional night for the Forbes family and most of AKA’s fans as they received the award. When Kairo took the mic, she asked fans to sing along with her to the award-winning song ‘Lemons (lemonade),’ and the crowd obliged, clapping hands and smiling.

AKA’s Career Awards
Despite his short career, AKA had already taken home many awards in the music industry. He is one of the few artists who gave South African hip-hop recognition internationally. AKA first won an award in 2012 when he won the Best Male Artist at the 18th South African Music Awards. In total, AKA won 17 awards from several awards ceremonies, including the MTV Africa Music Awards and the South African Hip Hop Awards.
