Reflecting on her journey, Thabethe remarked, “My weight had surged to 103.5kg over the 2021-2023 period, despite my stature of 159cm. Desperate for change, I opted for the surgery, and the results have been astounding. I’ve shed a significant 27.9kg, a testament to my commitment to reclaiming my health.”
Detailing the financial investment required for her transformation, she disclosed, “The procedure totaled approximately R60,000, with an initial deposit of R6,000. Travel expenses amounted to R40,000 to R50,000, depending on preferences for air travel.”
