Makhadzi and Babes Wodumo have finally smoked the peace pipe and reconciled after their huge social media fall out years ago. The two collaborated on a song on Makhadzi’s new album as well.

The two popular artists, who have had a public feud in the past, have now come together in harmony. The conflict began a few years ago when Babes Wodumo accused Makhadzi of inappropriate behaviour toward her late husband, Mampintsha.

The incident, which trended widely on Twitter, saw Babes Wodumo alleging that Makhadzi was romantically pursuing her baby’s father, escalating the tension between the two singers. In a video clip, Babes Wodumo hurled accusations at Makhadzi, claiming the Red Card singer had been involved with Mampintsha.

However, time has softened the feud, with both stars focusing on what truly matters. Last week, Babes Wodumo surprised many when she shared a post promoting Makhadzi’s latest album on her social media, revealing that the two had collaborated on a new track. Babes emphasized the importance of moving forward and embracing forgiveness, especially among women, as she publicly endorsed Makhadzi’s new project.

Their new collaboration has already stirred excitement among their fan bases. According to Makhadzi’s manager, Maphuti “Perez” Mothapo, the two artists are now on good terms and worked together seamlessly. He shared some insights into their collaboration:

Babes Wodumo is featured in the song Not Available. Makhadzi visited Babes Wodumo in Durban, where they recorded the track together. Later, Babes traveled to Johannesburg to shoot the music video. Their chemistry was fantastic, and I can confidently say this collaboration is a hit.

This exciting development marks a new chapter for both stars, as they set aside their past differences and use their platforms to promote unity, empowerment, and music.
