Renowned South African actor Chris “Bra Spokes” April has died.

Chris April, who was well known for his unforgettable performances in “Zulu,” “Mama Jack,” “Blended,” and a number of other notable films, passed away on March 31, 2024.

Confirming the news of her father’s passing, his daughter Tia Anan shared a heartfelt message on her social media platform. In a post seen by Zimoja, Tia Anan described Chris April as more than just an actor.

Rest in power, Daddy Chris ‘Bra Spokes’ April. He was a father, uncle, role model, legendary actor, music influencer, and teacher. He was an inspiration to everybody that he came in contact with,” she expressed.

Details about his death and cause of death were not readily available at the time of publishing.
