Intrusion Nightmare: Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize’s Ex-Husband Fears for Safety as Persistent Trespasser Strikes Repeatedly

Sbu Mpisane, the former Durban metro cop and businessman, once married to the famous MaMkhize, is living in constant fear these days. It all started last year when he caught Ntokozo Mabaso illegally occupying his mansion. Mabaso was found chilling in the triple-story mansion again over the weekend, despite facing previous charges for housebreaking.

Last year, when Mpisane discovered Mabaso and his two partners inside the house, they brazenly made themselves at home, cooked food, and even armed with weapons.

On that fateful day in December, Mpisane confronted them, and in the heat of the moment, he fired shots at them. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, but Mabaso was caught and later released on warning by the court.

This mansion holds some history. It was once the shared residence of the celebrity couple, MaMkhize and Mpisane, during the filming of the reality show “KwaMam’ Mkhize Season 1” in 2020. Since their separation and ongoing divorce proceedings, Mpisane now resides in the southern part of the house while MaMkhize stays on the opposite end.

Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of a series of intrusions. Mabaso and his companions kept coming back, and this past Saturday, luck finally ran out for Mabaso when he was caught drinking beers in the living room by Mpisane once again. This was the fifth intrusion since late last year, and it wasn’t the first time Mabaso managed to escape from Mpisane’s grasp.

When questioned about the situation, Mpisane decided to stay tight-lipped and redirected all inquiries to the law enforcement authorities.

At the moment, the KwaZulu Natal police are investigating the housebreaking case, but they’re keeping further details under wraps, citing that the matter is currently before the court. They advised seeking further information from the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA). However, the NPA’s director of Media Relations, Isaac Dhludhlu, declined to comment on the matter until the accused’s next court appearance.
