Mroza Fakuse is wanted by the police after a case was opened against him when he broke his girlfriend’s leg after assaulting her. The artist is said to be pleading for mercy from his lover and her family over his actions.

Renowned Maskandi artist Mroza Fakude finds himself embroiled in controversy after allegations surfaced of him assaulting his former partner, Nosipho Mhlongo, resulting in a broken leg. The incident reportedly occurred when Mhlongo demanded the return of her car, which had been involved in an accident.

Mroza Fakude begs for forgiveness from girlfriend

In a heartfelt plea captured on audio, Fakude, known for hits like “Van Damme,” tearfully begs for Mhlongo’s forgiveness. Expressing remorse for his actions, he acknowledges his wrongdoing and pleads for a chance to make amends. “Sthandwa sami, please forgive me,” he implores. “There is no me without you.”

Despite Fakude’s plea, Mhlongo remains resolute in her decision to pursue legal action. Recounting the harrowing experience, she recounts the severity of the assault and its impact on her livelihood. “That man nearly killed me with a spanner,” she laments, emphasizing her determination to seek justice.

Mhlongo also shared that she had to seek medical attention after the assault by her boyfriend. The hurt girlfriend, who is a businesswoman, shared that she has not been able to run her business well because of the injury. Nosipho wants Mroza arrested for Gender-Based violence and for justice to prevail.

Police Search Underway

Confirming the initiation of legal proceedings, Gauteng Police spokesperson Colonel Noxolo Kweza affirms that an assault case has been opened against Fakude, with authorities actively seeking his whereabouts. Fakude has not yet handed himself over to the police as he offered to pay a goat to Mhlongo’s family. Nosipho, however is adamant that she does not want his goat and neither does she want to forgive him.
