Sidambe, who is married to Mary-Jane Sidambe, has been in a relationship with Ndamase since last year. The couple went public with their romance on social media in July, sparking controversy and backlash from some fans who accused Ndamase of being a homewrecker.

Sidambe later released a statement on his social media, clarifying that he and his estranged wife had separated in March 2022 after months of trying to make things work.

He said he met Ndamase during this time and fell in love with her. He also defended Ndamase from the constant harassment and cyberbullying she received, saying she was a self-sufficient woman who deserved respect and privacy.

Mihlali also spoke about her relationship in an interview with online magazine Nounouche, saying she was crazy in love and would only be comfortable to speak more about it once she was married.

She said she understood her responsibility as a public figure, but also believed in living her life the way she wanted to.

However, their relationship might face more challenges as Sidambe is now wanted by the law for failing to pay maintenance to his wife.

According to sources, Sidambe did not show up for his court appearance and a warrant of arrest was issued for him. It is not clear how much he owes or what the consequences will be if he is arrested.

Ndamase and Sidambe have not commented on the matter yet. They were last seen together at the Durban July, where they also crossed paths with Mary-Jane Sidambe and her friends.
