Somizi Mhlongo’s ex-husband Mohale Motaung has stirred up controversy by publicly calling out TV and film producer Legend Manqele, demanding payment of R750,000 allegedly owed to him

Mohale Motaung’s Public Call-Out
The drama unfolded on social media when Motaung responded to a reflective post by Manqele on X, formerly , where he discussed personal growth and past controversies.
In a direct message, Mohale Motaung bluntly stated,
“Love it for you! Now, my 750K, please,” sparking a public exchange between the two.”
Legend Manqele’s Response and Denial
Manqele responded humorously but firmly, indicating that Motaung knows where to address his concerns.
“We are in public my friend so I don’t want to mention the address but you know where and who to go ask. On a side note, I appreciate the fact that we had our conversation and that we shook hands. Again I must say to you that I’m deeply grateful for the time you’ve given me,” Legend Manqele responded before blocking Mohale Mataung.

Manqele’s History of Financial Disputes in the Entertainment Industry
This public dispute sheds light on Manqele’s production company, Bar Leader TV, known for producing celebrity reality shows such as “Being Bonang,” “Rich Kids,” and “Living the Dream with Somizi.”
Notably, this isn’t the first time Manqele has faced accusations of owing celebrities money.
According to The Citizen, in 2021, Bonang Matheba publicly aired grievances about her experience working with Manqele’s company, alleging unpaid fees for her reality show.
