Moja Love Ropes Mofokeng For Emzini Wezinsizwa Re-creations
Moja Love has managed to stay relevant over the years by giving Mzansi a variety of content that gets social media buzzing all the time.
The channel is rumoured to be looking into making an Emzini Wezinsizwa-esque show that is set to star the veteran comedian Jerry Phele who played Mofokeng on the SABC1 sitcom.
Emzini Wezinsizwa is an all-time situational comedy film that gained popularity in Mzansi through SABC1.
It was focused on five adult males who needed to earn a living while staying together at a hostel in Johannesburg.
Unfortunately, cast members started dying one after the other to an extent that it became so frightful superstitious rumours started spreading about their unexplainable death.
From all of the members, Jerry Phele aka Mofokeng is the only remaining member.
Earlier this year, it was claimed that he wanted to revive his role as Mofokeng as he got a gig on Mzansi Magic’s new telenovela, The Throne.
It seems like the year is going so well for the veteran actor as he has got yet another gig on the upcoming sitcom.
According to an entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela, Jerry Phele is part of the sitcom Moja Love is currently working on.

Although the channel has been criticised for its stereotypical shows, it has managed to keep viewers entertained and tuned in.
The new sitcom — with such a veteran actor— will guarantee top 10 posts as the DSTV’s most-watched channel.
