Mother From Hell: Shocking Incident in KwaZulu-Natal as Heartless Woman Chains 7-Year-Old Daughter Inside Home

In a deeply disturbing incident that has left the community in shock, Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) has confirmed that a mother in KwaZulu-Natal chained her 7-year-old daughter inside their informal home in Redcliffe, Veralum.

RUSA officers arrived at the scene to find the young girl with shackles and a lock around her ankles, restrained from the morning and chained to a rafter from the roof.

Community’s Alarming Intervention: Outrage and Assault

The shocking discovery came to light when members of the community heard the desperate cries for help from the child. Concerned residents walking past the home peered through a window and were horrified to witness the young girl shackled with a metal chain.

According to the caller, residents walking past the informal home peered through a window and noticed a girl child shackled with a metal chain.

“The chain was fastened with a lock. The opposite end was secured to a rafter along the roof. The child is believed to be approximately seven years old,” RUSA spokesperson   Balram confirmed.

Outraged by this inhumane act, a mob began assaulting the mother upon her return.

“It was established that the woman restrained her child before leaving this morning.

“Upon her return, the mob began assaulting her with sticks,” Prem Balram added .

Mother’s Escape and Police Custody: Investigation Underway

Faced with the furious crowd, the mother managed to escape and locked herself inside the home with her daughter, Briefly reveals. Both the mother and daughter were subsequently transported to the Veralum Police Station, where an investigation is now underway.

This distressing incident has sent shockwaves through the community, raising urgent questions about child welfare and the need for intervention in cases of abuse.
