Amapiano musician and producer Mr JazziQ has spoken out after going viral over a “fight” with Shebeshxt.
The Viral Fight On Stage
In a video that has caused a rave on social media, Shebeshxt was holding the microphone onstage, and someone with an uncanny resemblance to Mr JazziQ confronted him. The two faced off and almost exchanged blows. Shebeshxt’s crew then jumped onstage and dragged the man off.

Shebeshxt even wanted to follow and smash him, but his security restrained him. It is still unclear why the men were about to exchange blows in front of a jubilant crowd.

Mr JazziQ Speaks On Shebeshxt “Fight”
The Johnny Ke Johnny hitmaker spoke to Zimoja and set the record straight on the purported fight with Shebeshxt. He explained that he was not the man in the video and would never fight in public like that. After the video went viral, people close to Mr JazziQ called and texted him asking about the incident, much to his shock.
Mr JazziQ clarified:
“That was not me in the video. I saw it on social media as well. We have a resemblance with the guy, but it was not me, fortunately.”
Mr JazziQ Heaps Praise For Mr JazziQ
The producer had good words for Shebeshxt.
“I think his music is a breath of fresh air and is a representation of the different layers of music that exist in SA. He is great for the culture.”
Mr JazziQ also told Zimoja that he had met Shebeshxt before and was one of the performing artists at JazziQ’s homecoming on 16 December 2023.
After being reached out for a comment, Shebeshxt’s spokesperson, Kholofelo Chuene, quipped:
“No! he doesn’t want to talk about that video.”
