Murder for Hire: Drip Footwear CEO Lekau Sehoana’s Estranged Wife Arrested for Hiring Hitmen to Kill Him

In a shocking turn of events, Lebogang Sehoana, the estranged wife of prominent Drip Footwear CEO Lekau Sehoana, was recently arrested at her residence on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and extortion.

The arrest follows a disturbing series of events that culminated in an alleged murder-for-hire plot, as Lebogang sought to eliminate her former husband.

According to a confession statement obtained by Sunday World, an alleged hitman implicated Lebogang in the sinister scheme. The hitman revealed that he and his accomplice were approached in November 2021 and offered a staggering sum of R1.2 million by Lebogang to carry out the hit on Lekau Sehoana.

In the statement, the hitman detailed their encounter, mentioning how Lebogang introduced herself as the owner of Drip Footwear and promised a down payment of R200,000 to secure their involvement. Shockingly, she even requested the purchase of a cocked firearm for her personal protection.

On the same day later (name withheld) came with a lady driving in a black BMW X4 and we entered at the back seat and (name withheld) introduced her as Lebogang, the owner of Drip Footwear and that the lady is offering us an amount of one million and two hundred thousand (R1.2m) if we can be successful for killing her husband known as Lekau Freddy Sehoana.”

Fleeing for Safety: Drip Footwear CEO Takes Refuge in Paris

Fearing for his life, Lekau Sehoana made the difficult decision to seek safety abroad, fleeing to Paris, France. The alleged murder-for-hire plot had left him in a state of distress and prompted him to alert the authorities.
