Awaiting the results of toxicology tests, she expressed apprehension about potential malicious intent and demanded a thorough inquiry into the circumstances surrounding her son’s passing.
Emphasizing the protracted timeline required by the National Health Laboratory Services to finalize toxicology tests, Langaveld appealed for assistance from anyone who might possess information shedding light on her son’s untimely death.
“I’m pleading for help to get the answers as the police cannot do anything without these medical results,” pleads Langaveld.
Emphasising the significance of the pending medical results, she stressed the potential implications for holding criminals accountable and the urgency to prevent them from escaping justice.
Speaking from her residence in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, Langaveld vehemently dismissed claims that her son’s on-stage collapse was due to epilepsy, questioning the accuracy of such a portrayal.
Having reviewed the video footage of the incident, she rejected the idea of a seizure, citing the pathologist’s evaluation that the fall did not pose a life-threatening danger.
By sharing her personal knowledge of her son’s health and refuting the presence of epilepsy, her aim is to dispel false information and redirect the investigation towards other potential causes.
