The new concert date was set for December 16, 2023, after the original September 23 date was pushed back. The performance was intended to kick off the Burna Boy After Tour, as announced by Ticket Pro.

South African Reactions: Overjoyed and Impressed

The cancellation of Burna Boy’s concert in South Africa has left many South Africans overjoyed and impressed.

This decision comes as a reflection of the strained relationship between Burna Boy and South African residents.

In 2019, Burna Boy stated that he would never return to the country due to xenophobic attacks occurring at that time. The cancellation of his concert has rekindled sentiments of cancellation among South Africans. They are now expressing their satisfaction with this turn of events.
