The thief took advantage of the congested road in Johannesburg, coupled with the thick night, and saw an opportunity to snatch a few cell phones and valuables.

As cars slowed down owing to the traffic, the unidentified thief approached one car and violently smashed its screen.

As soon as he broke the car’s window on the driver’s side, one alert and brave driver of a Volkswagen Amarok truck swiftly inched closer to the smashed car and trapped the smash-and-grab thief.

The Amarok driver then drove closer and squashed the thug. He squeezed the thief so much that there was no room for him to wiggle or break free.
