The rapper recently married his childhood sweetheart in a low-key, modest, traditional ceremony graced by close friends, associates and relatives.
A few weeks ago, a flier of his wedding ceremony leaked and went viral online. It emerged that Nyovest was to marry Pulane, his childhood lover from before fame. They reportedly postponed the ceremony to allow for renovations at Pulane’s parents’ home.
Despite clear receipts and proof of the wedding, Nyovest denied the development with a straight face. He even laughed, saying he was finding out about his wedding on social media.
Over the weekend, the rumour mill turned true, as Cassper paid Lobola and had a traditional wedding with Pulane. The event was modest, and the couple wore matching traditional Tswana garb. Viral social media comedian Primo Baloyi directed the ceremony.
Despite pictures of the wedding setting social media ablaze since Saturday, Cassper Nyovest has not yet confirmed or shared the news.

Despite his large-than-life and extravagant personality, Nyovest’s wedding was anything but lavish. The ceremony and reception, decor and ambience seemed low-budget and frugal.
Reports suggest that the rapper spent R37k on lobola and the cost of the traditional wedding.
