Her story was too shocking for people to believe; some expressed their doubts in the comments. An incensed Nicole wrote a lengthy post on her Facebook page:

“I don’t expect much from people who have sunshine and roses relationships with their mothers. Please bear in mind that when you voice your opinion about this matter, your mother has never badmouthed you multiple times to your family. She has never told you how worthless you are and how you are not going to amount to anything in life. She has never tried to burn you and have objects break while she threw them at you or tried to hit you with them.”

Nicole further revealed that her mother is in the habit of going to her workplace to cause drama so she can get fired. In 2019 she tried to run away and stayed with a friend, but her mom tried to get the friend and her mother arrested for looking after her.

Mzansi Speaks After Mother Tried To Kill Daughter

Social media users had mixed emotions over a mother who tried to kill her daughter.

Mandisa:

“Aybo, she even tried to get her fired from work😮😮😮”

Aria:

“Some mothers are toxic, and I mean very toxic, but we’re not ready to have that discussion.”

Salman:

“As drastic as it may sound, I think this lady should approach her nearest Magistrates’ court and apply for a protection order.”

Mthimkhulu:

“This doesn’t make any sense 😕, she’s working, can’t move out? The only option is her friends’ mom’s house. There’s something she’s not telling us because your mom couldn’t just turn against you and want you dead. Mothers are the last humans who can still fight for you even if you are killed.”
